“Everybody knows that everybody dies and nobody knows it like the Doctor. But I do think that all the skies of all the worlds might just turn dark if he ever, for one moment, accepts it.”
wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey-thingy:
There’s a room in the TARDIS that is special to the Doctor, that only he can find. And every once and awhile the TARDIS reminds him that it is there and that he has been loved by so many and so much and none more than his companions. This room is not extraordinary, it doesn’t have flying…
“I’m supposed to go.” “Yeah.”
“To another world, and then it gets sealed off.” ”Yeah.”
“Forever. That’s not going to happen.”
The first time, her “forever” is a promise. The second time it’s a reminder. There is no third time – just goodbye.
I’m looking at way too many Rose Tyler posts tonight. This is not healthy.
What does rose do when she’s on her period? Do they just stop at the local supermarket on mars to get tampons? I mean seriously you guys
Rose: We’ll go down fighting, yeah?
The Doctor: Yeah.
Rose: Together?
The Doctor: Yeah. I’m so glad I met you.
Rose: Me too.
“The music is played with the heart and is felt with the soul”
This is a picture of a brazilian kid who was part of the “cultural group of reggae”, playing his instrument in the funeral of his mentor who saved him from an environment of poverty and crime. He was rescued from the street.
This post has been featured on a 1000notes.com blog.
His mentor’s death was actually very tragic and could possible have been prevented.
The case has provoked a media storm because of Evandro’s high-profile social contribution and because it comes hot on the heels of criticism of the police for their handling of the violence which broke out in Morro dos Macacos, Saturday, October 17.
International newspapers have even picked up on the incident with French newspaper Le Monde describing the police’s actions as exposing the ‘gangrene’ at the heart of Rio’s military police.
Sadder still, the boy in the picture, Diego Frazão Torquato, died later that year.
Just wanted people to know who the boy was. He shouldn’t be forgotten.
R.I.P. Diego Frazão Torquato
